The 660mm focal length (f/6.0) performs exceptionally well for wide-field visual use or deep-sky astrophotography. And now the EON 110 ED has been upgraded with twist-tight 2 inch and 1.25 inch collars for quick and ultra-secure attachment of accessories.
A simple clockwise twist of the knurled aluminum collar precisely centers any eyepiece or accessory and holds it firmly in place. The EON 110 ED's optics are fully multi-coated for maximum light throughput. The focuser's integral 8-ball-bearing system, helical gear drive, and dual-speed (11:1) motion control gives both silky smoothness and unflinching rigidity.
A patented focus lock mechanism locks the drawtube in two directions, providing a much more rigid lock than most focusers. It can easily support imaging trains weighing up to 17 lbs. without slipping! Weighing less than 12 lbs., the EON 110mm ED needs only a medium-sized mount to support it, such as the Orion Sirius EQ-G.The focuser can be rotated in two places allowing camera framing to be set independently from your preferred positioning of the telescope's focus knobs.
An optional field flattener (sold separately) is recommended for astrophotographic use. Two hinged tube rings are included as is an aluminum-clad hard carry case with a die-cut foam interior. It's back and better than ever! Get the superb EON 110mm f/6.0 ED Apochromatic Refractor today!
